Known Issues

Release blockers

• LICENSE-RIGHTNOW.md conflicts with the root Apache-2.0 license.
• The Windows package payload still includes local-model setup and model-creation scripts plus the proprietary license file.
• verify/ship-gate.ps1 and verify/verify-all.ps1 still require Ollama or llama.cpp evidence and cannot certify the cloud-only candidate.
• No macOS release build, launcher run, or package gate is recorded. Linux has hosted Cargo evidence but no certified product package.

Windows behavior

CI boundary

• The Windows workspace library command excludes rightnow-pager and runs only the diagnostics::fix and doctor_cmd pager filters.
• PTY integration tests are outside the hosted --lib commands.
• Warnings remain visible but are not denied because RUSTFLAGS=-D warnings is commented out.

Product behavior

• There is no self-update channel or installer.
• Provider authentication, rate limits, availability, and latency are external dependencies. Headless backend unavailability maps to exit code 23.
• A stale warm daemon can continue serving a previously built binary until it is stopped.
